Terms of Use
Effective November 1, 2026
The short version: Librium is yours to use on your Mac under Apple’s standard license, your files remain yours, and the app never permanently deletes them.
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of Librium. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Librium.
Your license
Librium is licensed, not sold, through the Mac App Store. Your use is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms add to it. Where the two differ, Apple’s agreement applies to the extent required.
Your files and your data
Your documents belong to you. Librium indexes them in place and changes a file only when you direct it to. Removing a document from Librium’s index never affects the file itself, and Move to Trash sends a file to the macOS Trash rather than deleting it permanently.
Even so, you are responsible for keeping your own backups. We recommend backing up anything you can’t afford to lose.
Acceptable use
Use Librium for lawful purposes, and only with files you have the right to access. Please don’t attempt to copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store.
No warranty
Librium is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, JCD Apps, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Librium. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use Librium after a change means you accept the updated terms.
